Dragon Inc. is on track to generate $500 million for
its initial coin offering (ICO), and possibly more, according to CEO Chris
Ahmad.

“If all goes well it will actually exceed the $500
million cap. It will be towards one billion,” he said.

The Dragon Coin (DRG) has a 500 million token supply.
They can be used to buy Dragon Global Chips (DGC) which can then be used in
Dragon-affiliated VIP gaming rooms or junkets in Macau. Traditionally VIPs or
high rollers have to pay an average of a five percent fee to make their money
available in Macau and an additional five percent when transferring their money
back to their home country. With Dragon, VIPs are only charged 0.5 percent for
every purchase and sale of DGC.
“We actually save everyone in the ecosystem from having
to pay the really high fees,” Ahmad said.
Ahmad said Dragon is still in the ICO presale phase and
that the ICO itself would begin early next month.
“We have three phases altogether,” he said. “We’re now
nearing completion of the second phase, which is the pre-ICO. We have left over
another 50 million Dragons which we will release on the final phase, which is
the ICO, and that should be the beginning of February.”
