Cointelegraph reports that blockchain-based music streaming platform Audius has launched a new feature that allows “artists and fans to embed non fungible tokens (NFTs) on various blogs and social media platforms such as Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and Discord.” To access this feature, “artists need to connect their Audius accounts with Phantom wallet, a crypto wallet centered around the Solana (SOL1) ecosystem.” A statement from Audius reads:

 

“NFT holders can embed their collectibles from the two biggest blockchains on Twitter timelines, personal blogs, and websites. …This new feature will further push collectibles into the mainstream.”

 

Reuters reports that multinational investment bank Citigroup (NYSE:C) has announced plans to create 100 roles “focused on digital assets including blockchain and digital currencies at its institutional division.” Leading this team will be Puneet Singhvi, the company's head of blockchain and digital assets at its global markets operation. A spokesperson for Citigroup said:

 

"Prior to offering any products and services, we are studying these markets, as well as the evolving regulatory landscape and associated risks, in order to meet our own regulatory frameworks and supervisory expectations.”

 

Movie theatre circuit operator Regal, a subsidiary of Cineworld Group (OTC:CNNWF) has partnered with pure-digital payments firm Flexa, to unlock access to digital currency payments for patrons around the world. This will allow customers to pay for movie tickets and refreshments using cryptocurrencies like bitcoin (BTC), ether (ETH), litecoin (LTC), and dogecoin (DOGE). Ken Thewes, Chief Marketing Officer at Regal, said:
