Galaxy Digital Holdings Ltd. Hut 8 Mining Corp. (NasdaqGS:HUT) has provided an update, including production results for the month of January 2022. Highlights include the mining of 308 Bitcoin (BTC) – all of which was deposited into custody, and a total Bitcoin balance held in reserve of 5,826 as of January 31, 2022. The company also installed 6,317 MicroBT M30S and M31S+ miners during the month. Jason Zaluski, Head of Technology for Hut 8, commented:

 

"Our team is working hard deploying additional miners between our two Alberta-based sites, increasing overall efficiency and hashrate using existing capacity. Our goal is to always utilize the most efficient miners we have, and we have been receiving and fully deploying our MicroBT units as they arrive, which speaks to the commitment and capability of our team on the ground, here in Alberta."

 

CleanSpark, Inc. (NasdaqCM:CLSK) has released its unaudited bitcoin production and operations update for the calendar year-to-date ending January 31, 2022. The company produced 305 bitcoins during January with a currently deployed fleet of approximately 20,500 latest-generation bitcoin miners with a total hashrate of 2.1 EH/s. CleanSpark also fully funded its growth and operations through the sale of 467 bitcoins in January “at an average of approximately $41,000 per BTC.”
