Riot Blockchain, Inc. (NasdaqCM:RIOT) has posted a production and operations update for May 2022. Highlights include the production of 466 Bitcoin (BTC), the sales of 250 Bitcoin for about $7.5 million, and a currently deployed fleet of approximately 43,458 miners with a hash rate capacity of 4.6 exahash per second. Jason Les, CEO of Riot, said:

 

“During May, we continued to make progress on the ongoing expansion of our Whinstone Facility in Rockdale, TX. We’re proud to report that our first immersion building, Building F, is filled with approximately 23,000 S19 series miners. Approximately 7,000 of those miners are staged in the immersion-cooling tanks and are anticipated to be deployed pending installation of the final requisite components. Once these miners and other staged miners are fully deployed, our hash rate capacity is expected to increase to 5.4 EH/s.”

 

WonderFi Technologies Inc. (OTC:WONDF) has announced that it has been granted regulatory approval for its acquisition of crypto trading platform Coinberry. According to the press release, WonderFi and Coinberry “expect the acquisition to close on July 4, 2022,” whereupon “Coinberry will become the second licensed crypto asset trading platform in Canada wholly owned by WonderFi, along with Bitbuy Technologies Inc.” WonderFi's General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer Adam Garetson said:

 

"Obtaining securities regulatory approval for the acquisition of Coinberry was a groundbreaking moment in the ongoing development of the compliant crypto market and sets a strong precedent for future regulated consolidation both domestically and internationally. We are thrilled to continue to be on the front lines of legal and regulatory innovation in the digital asset space."

 

Bluesky Digital Assets Corp. (CSE:BTC) has announced that the first phase of its state-of-the-art Bitmain Antspace Hydrominer (Antspace HK3) has been shipped and is expected to arrive at its mining facility in Texas in 4 to 6 weeks. According to the press release, “each 1 S19 Pro+ Hyd ASIC miner will produce a Hashrate of 198 TH/s, [and] therefore it is anticipated that the system will produce 38,610 TH/s / 38.6 PH/s without any optimization(s), which will amount to approximately 60 to 64 BTC being mined by the system, per year.
