Riot Blockchain, Inc. (NasdaqCM:RIOT) has posted its unaudited production and operations updates for November 2022. Monthly highlights include the production of 521 Bitcoin (BTC), the holding of about 6,897 BTC, the selling of 450 BTC – which generated proceeds of roughly $8.1 million, and the deployment of a fleet of 72,428 miners, boasting a hash rate capacity of 7.7 exahash per second (EH/s), as of November 30. Jason Les, CEO of Riot, said:

 

Riot again achieved a new record for total hash rate capacity during the month of November, resulting in our highest monthly Bitcoin production figure to date. Despite this new level of production, expected production was approximately 660 Bitcoin given our operating hash rate over the month, assuming normalized performance of the mining pool we participate in. Variance in a mining pool can impact results and while this variance should balance out over time, can be volatile in the short term. This variance led to lower Bitcoin production than expected in the month of November, relative to our hash rate.”

 

Hut 8 Mining Corp. (NasdaqGS:HUT) has shared its production and operations results for November. Highlights include the production of 238 BTC (average of 7.9/day), total BTC balance of 8,925 as of November 30, and the installation of 2,000 new MicroBT Whatsminer 30S++/+ units at the company’s mining facility in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Hut 8’s CEO, Jaime Leverton, said:

 

"Installing 2,000 new miners in Medicine Hat has increased efficiencies and enhanced our hashrate capacity. At the same time, thanks to our balance-sheet first approach, we are able to continue to HODL everything we mine, growing what continues to be the largest self-mined unencumbered Bitcoin stack of any publicly traded company."

 

DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. (TSXV:DMGI) has announced its preliminary mining results for November 2022. According to the press release, the company mined 88 BTC with 0.83 EH/s realized hashrate, leaving it with a balance of 389 BTC. DMG “expects to grow its hashrate to 1 EH/s by the end of this calendar year or early 2023; this is subject to the receipt, installation and operation of the additional miners.”
