Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc. (NasdaqCM:MARA) has published its unaudited Bitcoin (BTC) production and miner installation updates for February 2023. Highlights include the production of 683 BTC, a 30 percent increase in hashrate, an increase in Unrestricted Cash to $219.7 million USD, and an increase in Unrestricted Bitcoin Holdings to 8,260 BTC. Fred Thiel, Marathon’s chairman and CEO, said:

 

“To continue advancing our operations and improve efficiency, our primary focus this year is to energize more miners and to optimize our fleet’s performance. We remain confident in our ability to scale Marathon into one of the largest and most energy efficient Bitcoin mining operations globally by installing approximately 23 exahashes of computing power near the middle of 2023.”

 

CleanSpark, Inc. (NasdaqCM:CLSK) has posted its unaudited Bitcoin mining and operations update for the month ending February 28, 2023. Highlights include the mining of 576 BTC, 100 total BTC held as of the month’s end, and a currently deployed fleet of about 66,900 latest-generation BTC miners with a hashrate of 6.6 EH/s. The company’s CEO, Zach Bradford, explained:

 

“…construction continues in Washington, where an additional 50 megawatts are set to go online in a few months. Digihost Technology Inc. (NasdaqCM:DGHI) has announced its unaudited Bitcoin production results and operational updates for the month ended February 28, 2023. Highlights include the mining of 58.18 BTC in the month – making for a total of 12.59 BTC in holdings at the month’s end, and a total of $2.4 million USD in holdings – comprising BTC, cash, and cash deposits. Additionally, Digihost “made the decision to use its cash and digital asset inventory to fully fund the February 8, 2023 strategic acquisition of its 60 MW power plant.”
