Cointelegraph reports that Coinbase (NasdaqGS:COIN) has plans to purchase Turkish crypto exchange BtcTurk for $3.2 billion. This follows an announcement from Coinbase’s CEO, Brian Armstrong, indicating plans for international expansion “in every country [they] can legally operate.” Armstrong said:

 

“At Coinbase, we are laser focused on increasing economic freedom, because we believe that this is how we can have the biggest impact on the world. Everyone deserves access to financial services that can help empower them to create a better life for themselves and their families, and Coinbase is tasked with making this future a reality.”

 

BIGG Digital Assets Inc. (CSE:BIGG) has posted an update on its portfolio company TerraZero Technologies Inc. TerraZero, according to the press release, is “a diversified, vertically integrated metaverse technology company,” which “owns significant amounts of virtual land assets in multiple metaverse worlds.” Dan Reitzik, CEO of TerraZero, said:

 

“We are tremendously excited about the progress of our studio, technology platform, and data analytics divisions. The studio continues working with Fortune 500 brands and companies, as they navigate their way into the metaverse.
